Privacy Statement – what we need and why
We need some of your details, for example your name and contact details, to enable us to contact you about plant orders, product updates and events and promotions
What data do we collect?
We collect some of the following types of data from our customers (we don’t collect all of this data on all customers – we only collect it if it’s needed and if you have asked us to contact you):
What do we use it for?
Any of the information listed above might be needed to contact you to update you on an event booking, a tearoom reservation, or a product order. In addition our Loyalty card members are contacted via email to keep them in touch with news, advice and events. We won’t ever use this data for anything else unless you give us your active consent for that additional use. If customers wish to purchase products or services over the phone we will ask for credit/debit card details to enable payments. This information is not stored beyond it’s one-time use and, if written down, is securely disposed of.
Do we share your data with anyone else?
- We will never give your data to third parties for that third party to use.
- We will sometime use third party services (e.g. Google Drive/Mail Chimp) to store or process your data but we will always make sure that they are reputable and secure, and that your data is kept safe.
What can you ask us to do?
At any time, you can ask to view, update or correct any data we hold on you. Customers who are on our Loyalty Card database can unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions on each email.
