Vintage Decorative Garden Items

We always have in stock a wide range of vintage, salvage and antique items suitable for use as decorative and unusual garden features. Our selection may chimney pots which make great planters, roof finials, milk churns, garden gates, plant labels and much more. There is usually too much to photograph each item for our gallery, so we do suggest that you visit Woodside and have a good rummage around. Make sure you look into the "Second Chance" shop, in which you'll find all sorts of treasures for the garden and shed.

Rare Watering can embossed Manufrance Saint Etienne, which was the first French mail order company established in 1888. This watering can has an elegent shaped spout and was probably intended for watering house plants. Currently doesn't hold water, so sold as a decorative collectors piece. Price £80

Opening Times

The plant centre, grocery shop and tea room are currently open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm. (10:00am to 4:00pm November to March). Booking is recommended for indoor seating in the tea room -  please phone 01835 830315.

Car Park

Car parking is only available during opening hours. The car park gate is locked when we are closed.

How to Get in Touch

We love meeting people and caring for our plants, but we are not so keen on sitting in the office and working  on a computer. Because of our lovely woodland setting internet signals are intermittent, so emails and social media requests may go un-answered.
